Gender Biases: Real Terror to Our Society

Disclaimer: This is just my opinion, your opinion may vary. And I am not trying to bring down any gender, all that I wish to shed light on matters like rape, body shaming, and mostly gender biases.

Feel free to leave your opinions in the comments. And I do not want any sort of argument down there. It is completely your place. Just please maintain healthy and relatable arguments.

And NO ONE HAS ANY RIGHT TO BRING DOWN ANY GENDER! SO ANY COMMENT THAT BY ANY MEANS IS TOWARDS BRINGING DOWN ANY GENDER WOULD BE DELETED!

Social Media is a funny thing, for each individual it has a different use and importance. Some use it to stay in touch, while others use it for promoting their talent. But I guess with time things develop more uses which could end up being helpful, but in case of social media let us easily say it, it developed a negative use.

In the last few years, many words were highlighted: Catfishing (Pretending to be someone you are not); Online harassment; Cyberstalking (Stalking someone through their social media ids.)

And, let us just rewind to the day before yesterday. Until that day we had no clue that there existed a group named "Bois Locker Room" damn, we did not even realize that someone so young to be in XI or XII grade could have such pathetic thinking process that instead of talking about their school syllabus they are talking about things as sinful as "RAPE"

For those who have no clue about it, in brief, some teen boys age 16-17 talked about gang-raping girls and were chatting about pathetic stuff which could leave anyone flabbergasted. And a girl* leaked the screenshots of the chats which then left many people with many questions on the thought process of those teens.

Then, yesterday few more screenshots were leaked of a girl who was related to the whole scenario. And those screenshots were equally disgusting as the previous ones. It threw light on the facts like this girl being a homophobic and body-shaming people. And we are living in the 21st century where this all should be taken seriously.

Today, other screenshots of some chats surfaced Instagram from a group named "Girls Locker Room" where girls were being rude to other girls and sharing other girls' pictures without any consent. They objectified girls. Those screenshots shined the light on the misogynistic girls in our society who work on bringing other girls down.

All of these screenshots that surfaced Instagram, brought out a problem in our society that is - The difference between how we treat girls or ladies and how we treat boys or men! And it is extremely shameful to see how biased our we towards women.

We talk about feminism, but nowhere in the world is it said that feminism means putting men down. All that feminism means is, bringing equality for women in our society, and if you do not believe me go Google it!

It is funny how we never doubt women. Are they so precious and so truthful? Those screenshots prove otherwise. And they bring out the reality, that no one is ever innocent, at least not in the ways we believe them to be.

We take a word of a girl or woman in such a concrete manner that we become so blinded by it that we do not even try to read further into the story to find out what happened.

It is ironic how that girl went pointing fingers at boys without even letting her own mistakes and flaws slip. She acted very innocently.

And to be honest? I feel pity for people with such trash thoughts like I feel sorry because no one's parents put it in their mind, it's like the people they are surrounded with and what is much more messed up is, by the time they realize their squad is the thing which is corrupting their thought process it's way too late to change and revert.

Did anyone apologize? Yes a guy did, but does that apology means something after you have defamed and insulted someone innocent so much, no it is as good as no apology, it just means now they are scared of the punishment ahead of them.

So let me raise this question, why not adopt the actual meaning of feminism? Why this altered meaning? And why be biased towards just one gender?

And in the end I would like to request everyone reading this that please stop generalizing, if few men are atrocious that does not mean all are, and the same goes for women! It's time, that we wake up now!
