We rise from death, as if we were asleep.

Results! These peeps seem to scare everyone. No matter how old the person is. Like, after this 23rd even Modi ji must be getting this weird feeling - Anxiousness; of whether he'll be elected again or not. He would be waiting impatiently to know the results, along with every other citizen of India. But fortunately, these results would be all over the television, whole India would be glued to their television sets because they want to know whose going to govern them. But, unlike Modi ji, we students are not that very fortunate. Our relatives, whom we have never even seen in our family photo albums or neighbors who do not even know what school we even attend seem to wake up. They start blowing up your phones. Calling you, leaving messages or sometimes even show up at your doorstep! Why? Because, they seem to care about your result more than you or your parents.
They are like vampires those who were staked and then fed with our annual result marks in form of "Fresh Human Blood". It is just so irritating because, for these Aunties, your annual marks becomes the topic to gossip for next time when they meet or get together for their kitty parties. And no matter how good you score but, if your marks are even 0.1% less than Padoswale Verma Ji ka Beta then trust me, it's because you did not study for 12hours.
The worst part is when it is your 10th or 12th board results, because everyone, would want to know what stream or college will you choose because somehow it matters to those people whether you choose correct career or not. Suddenly, these people whose face you see once in a while when you go out, seem to become your well wishers.
Funny part is, when people to your face are like "Oh wow beta! You've scored so good." and behind your back they would be talking about how bad you scored, irrespective of the fact that you are proud of your result that you achieved after the immense efforts you put in during the one month period.
But at the end, after two days, no one and by that I mean NO ONE would even ask you how much you scored. Because, sometimes it's about your character and not about those three digit numbers. Your character is what defines you and shapes you, not your marks. Agreed marks are important, but let's not forget Isaac Newton or Albert Einstein were not among the position holders in school but still, they laid down some of the most crucial and important inventions, which I am pretty sure, anyone with higher ranking on the basis of marks could've never done that.
So that is what actually happens the day your results are out. That is how every person in our society acts, being intrigued by what's happening in others lives rather than being concerned with their own.
So, to conclude ;
"Grades do not measure intelligence, and age does not define maturity."

I can relate! I remember last year, when everyone started calling! It was traumatizing.
100% written from bottom of your heart. Because, it's relatable
You did justice to every student, who can't gather courage to speak what you wrote here!
You displayed feelings of every 10th grader after their results are out!
So, damn true! Every student has to go though this trauma!
