Chapter Eight : Preparation

They all woke up at around 7 in the morning, which was practically early for them because they usually woke up at noon. But, today was not like another regular day. Today they were going to put an end to what they experienced all those years ago. All those traumatizing nightmares. Shrieks replaying in their brains continuously. And after all, how could they even forget it all, because it was the only thing which occupied their minds and consumed all of their energy by the end of the day for months to come.

They all just followed their routine and then rushed down the stairs except Beverly, who slipped and tumbled down the stairs whilst everyone watched and had a great laugh.

Just as always boys got to preparing the pancakes while girls set the table.

They started to have their breakfast when Patrick's phone buzzed. He checked it, to read a new notification from his mother. He opened it to read the message which read, "Hey honey, we would be not able to return during the expected date. We need to extend the stay. I will explain it all to you and my baby girl whenever we return. Take Care of yourself and your Lil sister. Love, Mom"

"Hey, Bev? Mum said to beat the hell out of you. And she even told us that you are adopted. Oh yes, I never wanted to share my DNA with someone as stupid as you."Patrick told his sister.

"Wait, What? Patrick, you are the adopted one, mum must have felt bad telling you that read it again." The twins messed around with each other, just like any other pair of siblings.

"On a serious note, they won't be back anytime soon they had to extend their trip by some days."The brother said informing his sister what was really in that text message.

"Gives us some extra time to dig deep into that house," James said, coming back to the project.

All of them finished their breakfast, kept their plates in the dishwasher. They all went upstairs to Beverly's room where the window overlooked the house parallel to Turner's residence.

"Soooo, what all we need for tonight guys?" Mary questioned, confused as to what to pack for the night.

"Cameras, batteries for the same, mobile phones, flashlights with extra batteries and whatever each of us see fits," Bev said.

"Hey, guys? Can my girlfriend tag along? She even volunteered to bring some of her ghost detectors just in case."Patrick asked everyone.

"Sure bro, let's meet the human who has got the strong Turner wrapped around her fingers," Thomas said.

They soon left for the store where they met up with Patrick's girlfriend. They got divided into three groups of two. Beverly and Thomas, Mary and James, and Patrick and Iliana, his girlfriend.

Beverly and Thomas went to the electronics section to purchase cameras and it's batteries, while Patrick and Iliana went to the household section to buy Flashlight. But Mary and James went to the food section to purchase candy, which was of no use for the adventure later that day. In the end, they all met at the cashier.

"Mary? You both purchased candies? Are you for real?"Bev asked her pal.

"What? Candies keep you calm."Replied the girl who purchased candies.

But, before Beverly could have replied it was their turn to check out and pay. After paying for everything they went back home and the sun had started to go down.

All of them just packed their bags as soon as they returned.

They just made something to eat for dinner and left the house with their packed bags.And within a minute they were standing outside the house.
